INSPIRING LEADERS CLUB
FUN, CHALLENGING & PRACTICAL
Inspiring Leaders Club teaches students the difference between being a worker and being a leader. Student skills in STEM, marketing, business, innovation, teamwork and leadership are enhanced executing many fun activities.
Throughout the term, student teams have the opportunity to actively develop a comprehensive system to help solve the STEM Pipeline Problem metaphor. Students are challenged to develop advanced solutions which engage and lead other young Australians.
Activities include:
- Mobile App development (Android or Apple) to present a STEM pathways program aimed at parents and teenagers
- Creating an online expert system to guide STEM career pathways
- Developing a marketing campaign for selected target audiences using:
- Green screen video editing technology (1-2 minute promotional video)
- Advertisements for social media, web (banner and Google Adwords) & print
- Collection of data from children, parents, professionals and educators to guide information and receive feedback
- Commercialising an idea (Entrepreneurship)
Supports Stronger School Performance
Inspiring Leaders Club is run by expert STEM teachers from leading academic schools.
STEM classes are now mandatory in all school curriculums from Years 3 to 10. The number of schools teaching subjects such as iSTEM in schools is doubling every two years in NSW.
Future Developers Club is aligned to High School Syllabus outcomes so our students perform stronger at school and in their future.
A third-party evaluation found that participation in a real STEM program contributes to the following outcomes*:
- Increased attendance
- Increase in students’ average ATAR (or equivalent)
- Improved test scores

Join our
inspiring leaders club
During STEM Club students will learn leadership, management and communication skills to confidently articulate knowledge and innovations to others with confidence. This class inspires students to build a culture of leadership and initiative to increase their chance of success amongst their peers.
Throughout term, student teams have the opportunity to actively develop a comprehensive system to help solve the STEM Pipeline Problem metaphor. Students are challenged to develop advanced solutions which engage and lead other young Australians.
Students will work in groups of 2-4, supported by various resources, documentation, a fun narrative and two expert teachers (from top local selective schools). Each student will pick a role in their group which could include; Project manager, Marketing manager, IT expert or Data Analyst.

Why should my child bring their own device?
Your child feels most familiar on their own device and their work can be saved much easier!
How many students per child?
9 students per teacher is our maximum ratio. This is to maintain our high-quality learning environments.
My child has never coded. Is this program suitable?
Coding is not mandatory in this course. All activities can be completed without knowledge in coding.
My child has attended a coding class before. Will this still be useful?
Yes! This program targets advanced students who wish to become leaders amongst their peers. Skills in STEM, marketing, business, innovation, teamwork and leadership are comprehensively built through application.

Our program was built to specifically cater to students 12+ years old with fast learning attributes. If your child is younger and is interested in joining, please email us at contact@stemworld.com.au before signing up.
